# Wanna hear about a cool new tech tool I found that isn't ChatGPT? 😛

In my line of work I spend an enormous amount of time typing commands into a terminal emulator. I have a couple of 
different favourites based on which Operating System I'm using at the time.

On Mac OS it's [iTerm 2](https://iterm2.com/) 

On Linux it's [Terminator](https://gnome-terminator.org/)

On Windows it's [Cmder](https://cmder.app/)

But wait, there's a new kid in town and it's pretty nifty! Enter [Warp](https://www.warp.dev/)

Warp is as they say on their website "a terminal for the 21'st century". It's a completely new terminal application 
built using Rust. It's not another web app based on Electron, forced to look like a desktop app. It's a true native app
and because of this it's blazing fast too!

Now I know there are plenty of existing terminal apps, I mean I've listed 3 of them here already so why should we care 
that there is a new one?

Well this one has some pretty unique features like A.I. for a start! You can type things into Warp in natural language 
and it will convert it into actual commands automatically using GPT-3, it's pretty cool. 

Aside from the A.I. features there are some other nice ones I've noticed so far, things like; it has multiple cursor support to 
input into multiple lines at once, and a cool kind of intelli-sense / auto-complete when typing. It's really good at 
suggesting things as you type based on your history.

Oh and it has theme support! Dracula theme is ready and available from the get-go! 

I will definitely be using this more in the coming weeks and months and I'll probably write a more in-depth review of it 
down the line.

EDIT: I forgot about this but it's worth mentioning because it's something that I DO NOT LIKE. 

When you first install Warp it has telemetry enabled by default. If like me you are uncomfortable with telemetry being
enabled you can disable it in the app settings.
