I just wanted to share a quick update to say that I've given the site a bit of an overhaul. I've attacked a few of the 
layout and styling bugs that I discovered on smaller mobile devices.  I've completely re-written my blog platform.  

I'm now leveraging NextJS more and using the dynamic routing features combined with `front-matter` to store the blog post 
metadata in the blog post files, along with the content.  This is easier for me when adding blog posts, but it's also 
much better from an SEO perspective as this metadata is now available when sharing links to the blog posts.

I've also completely re-written a bunch of components I use on the website including the markdown renderer, and I've 
added [PrismJS](https://prismjs.com) so I can now write posts that include code with full syntax highlighting.

I also improved the filter components on the [Blog](/blog) and [Books](/books) pages.  These are independent of each 
other now and have different implementations.  They also support more device breakpoints.

I haven't finished. I still have more features to add, including a photo library so I can finally get rid of Instagram!
